Thank you for registering for AAT26 Leg 2. Please read the following carefully and prepare accordingly.
1. Race Day Schedule / Program

- Elevation gain: 1,128 meters

3. Race Kit Claiming
- On-site race kit claiming: 2:30 AM, Sunday, April 19, 2026
- Every participant is required to sign a Waiver & Release of Liability prior to the race.
- Please present a valid ID upon claiming.
- Mandatory gear check will be enforced.
- Participants 17 years old and below must present a consent + waiver form signed by a parent/guardian.
- No misrepresentations.
- No transfers.
4. Aid Stations

Important: Aid stations are there to support your race, not replace your preparation.
Bring your own hydration system and nutrition. No paper cups will be provided. A collapsible cup is mandatory. Some aid stations will contain food and drinks such as water, soda, rice cakes, and fruits.
5. Mandatory Gear

All runners are required to carry the following:
- Hydration (at least 1L capacity)
- Trail food
- Fully charged cellphone with load
- Basic first aid kit (at minimum: cleansing pad or betadine, gauze pad, adhesive tape)
- Whistle
- Collapsible cup
These mandatory items will be inspected at check-in and may also be checked randomly during the race.
6. Recommended Gear
- Trail running shoes
- Headwear / cap
- Trekking / hiking poles
7. During the Event
- No bib number changes or substitutions are allowed.
- Mandatory gear must be carried for the entire race.
- Bib numbers must be visible at all times.
- Carry essential snacks and hydration to sustain yourself between aid stations.
- Present bib numbers to marshals at checkpoints for recording.
- Cut-off times are strictly enforced. No exceptions.
- Notify the race director or nearest marshal before declaring DNF.
- DNF participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses.
8. Outside Support / Course Rules
No outside crew, pacers, or vehicle support are allowed on course.
Support is only allowed at:
- official aid stations
Unauthorized support will result in disqualification.
- Littering is strictly prohibited. Garbage / trash bags will be located at the aid stations. Violation will result in outright disqualification from the race.
- Trails will be clearly marked with course tapes and directional arrows, and marshals will be posted especially at critical points along the course. All runners must stay on the marked trails. No shortcuts. Violation will result in outright disqualification.
- Participants who arrive more than 10 minutes after gun start will no longer be allowed to race.
- Race bibs must be worn in front of each runner.
- Trekking poles are allowed during the race.
- A baggage counter will be available at the starting line.
- There will be no drop bag stations.
- If a runner decides not to continue with the race, they must inform the nearest aid station or marshal.
- The Race Director reserves the right to modify the course, rules, and regulations under certain circumstances for the safety of all runners.
- The Race Director’s decision is final and non-appealable.
9. Protest
Protests of any nature must be submitted within one hour of the finish time of the person lodging the protest.
- Protests must be submitted in writing and signed by the accuser. Saying somebody cut the course is not enough. The protest must be written and described as accurately as possible. All protests will be investigated.
- Because of the nature of off-road races, it is not always possible to see infractions. This race is in the woods, often out of sight, and marshalled only where necessary. In every case, there must be verification of the alleged infraction. Officials will not be drawn into hearsay arguments.
- A protest fee of ₱1,500 will be required for the protest to be processed. Once the protest is proven valid, the protest fee shall be returned to the complainant. Otherwise, if the protest is unproven, the fee is forfeited.
10. Grounds for Disqualification
A runner may be disqualified for any of the following:
- Loss or alteration of official bib number
- Failure to carry mandatory gear
- Cheating, shortcutting, or tampering with course markings
- Participation by unregistered runners or unauthorized pacers
- Failure to present more than two mandatory items
A penalty may be applied for missing mandatory items, and failure to present more than two mandatory items may result in disqualification.
11. How to Get to the Race Village
Via Private Vehicle
- Search “Timberland Heights” on Google Maps / Waze
- Follow the road all the way up to the end of the concrete road
- Upon reaching the race village, make a U-turn and park along the roadside as directed
Via Public Transport
- Ride a jeep or UV bound for Montalban (Rodriguez), Rizal
- Drop off at Timberland Heights Junction (along Marikina–Infanta Highway)
- From there, take a tricycle going up to Timberland Heights
Important Travel Notes
- No direct public transport goes all the way up — the last stretch is via tricycle
- Expect limited trips early morning — arrive earlier than planned
- If you wish to stay within Timberland premises, resort room and day-use options may be available directly through Timberland Highlands Resort
12. Race Village / Venue Reminders
Please take note:
- Camping within Timberland Heights premises is not allowed
- Cellphone signal is weak to none
- Please inform your contacts ahead of time
- Bring extra cash
- Do not rely on cashless payments or mobile signal on race day
Arrive prepared. Race day is not the time to improvise.
13. Timberland Highlands Resort Offers for Participants
Participants who wish to stay close to the venue or use resort facilities may coordinate directly with Timberland Highlands Resort.

14. Last Call Clarification
Only the last few slots remain for AAT26 Leg 2.
Paid Last Call registrants receive:
- race entry
- Last Call bib
- placeholder finisher token on race day
- official event singlet shipped after the race
- official finisher medal shipped after the race
Complimentary Last Call slots are race-entry only:
- with Last Call bib
- with placeholder finisher token on race day
- no official singlet
- no official finisher medal
- no post-event shipment
This is to avoid confusion on race inclusions.
Once the remaining Last Call slots are taken, that’s it.
No more online slots. No guarantees for on-site.
15. Weather, Cancellation, and Refunds
This event is race-or-shine.
Cancellation or postponement notices will be issued 48 hours prior only if uncontrollable factors, such as severe weather or safety risks, require it.
Please note:
- Registration is non-refundable
- Transferring registrations is not allowed
- Registration funds are used to pay for the items and services needed to host the event
- Refunds will not be provided unless the event is cancelled for reasons within the organizer’s control
Examples of factors not within the organizer’s control include, but are not limited to:
- dangerous weather
- natural disasters
- pandemics
- acts of terrorism
- local emergencies
- government restrictions or safety risks
16. Final Note
The race director / organizer reserves the right to modify the rules and/or the race route at any time, including during the event, to ensure participant safety and welfare.
Please prepare properly, carry the required gear, study your aid station sequence, and arrive ready to race.
