🌍 March Aleonar at the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship
“Namasyal lang… tumap 10 pa.”
That’s how March Aleonar — a low-key but seasoned runner representing Isabela — described his race at the 2025 XTERRA Trail Run World Championship in Wales, UK. But if you’ve seen him race in the Philippines, you know there’s no such thing as “namasyal” when it comes to March. He trains hard, races smart, and lets his results speak.
🇵🇭 Representing the Philippines — and His Team
March lined up at the XTERRA start line as part of Isabela Tri Club, one of the many provincial teams supporting elite and up-and-coming athletes nationwide. For international events like XTERRA, team colors usually come first — and so he raced in his official team kit.
But during warm-ups and travel days, March reached for something more personal: his Ahon Super Light Singlet.
“If I had a choice,” he said, “I would’ve raced in this. I’ve used it back home on trails — it’s light, breathable, and proven.”
That same singlet — the Uleyan SL — had seen trail time from Benguet to Bukidnon. It wasn’t just apparel. It was part of the journey.
🏁 His Performance in Wales

Not bad for someone who “just came to tour.”
🌄 Quiet Consistency, Trail-Runner Spirit
March may not be loud on social media — but he’s loud where it matters: the results sheet. He’s one of the many Filipino runners proving that you don’t need hype to show up and finish strong. You just need the grit to train, show up, and keep moving forward — no matter the trail, or the country.
Saludo, March. Sa susunod, sana SL na ulit ang suot mo sa karera.

P.S. Curious what makes a shirt “race-ready”? March originally chose the Ahon Super Light Singlet for this event — the same gear trusted by top Filipino trail runners. Learn more about what sets it apart on our blog.
